I would like to boot from the new HD; and I formatted it with "format d:/s" If i set the bios to boot from the D: disk it doesn't work, and after a while I get a "hit a key to reboot". Notice that both under DOS and under Windows the disk works perfectly. What should I do ? Shall I use a "boot manager" software ?

boot problem with LILO on a double hdisk system
The most flexible way to do this is to get a professional level boot manager such as Bootit NG from www.bootitng.com or Boot Magic that comes with Partition Install 9x to that partition and use the boot manager to select at boot time whether you want to boot to the partition with XP or the partition with 9x.
